The multilayer accordion-like Ti3C2Tx is the first discovered Mxene material. It is produced through the selective etching of titanium aluminum carbide (Ti3AlC2) using hydrofluoric acid (HF). This process removes aluminum layers, resulting in the expansion and delamination of the remaining titanium carbide layers, which possess surface terminations denoted as Tx (such as -OH, =O, and -F). This etching process can be used to regulate the morphology and structure of two-dimensional materials, thereby influencing their properties and applications.
Our products ensure a clear accordion-like morphology and low aluminum content (≤2%) by adjusting the etching time and etching temperature in accordance with the raw material's size. They are suitable for scientific research, small to medium scale mass production and molded product research.
