    CNT Aqueous Ink, Conductive Ink

    Product Introduction:
Our carbon nanotube ink products have high conductivity and excellent adhesion to various substrates. They have broad application prospects in the electronics industry, such as batteries, solar cells and printed electronics.

Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotube (MWCNT) Aqueous Ink, Conductive Ink

Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube (SWCNT) Aqueous Ink, Conductive Ink

    Performance Parameters

    Catalog NumberNM-CINK001
    Quantity1 ltr (1,000 ml)
Viscosity (low viscosity ink formulation for drop on demand- DOD inkjet, ultrasonic aerosol jet printing, air-brush, blade, slot die coating technologies)40.0-50.0 mPa·s [cP] (measured at @ 25 Deg C, shear rate 1000 s-1)
Conductive PhaseMulti-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) of 9-10 nm in diameter and aver. 1.5 μm of lengths; highly crystalline and quality of MWCNTs
    Solid Content of Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs)0.8-1.0 and up to 2.5 wt.% (8.0-10.0 mg/ml and up to 25.0 mg/ml)
    **@ 2.5 wt.% (25.0 mg/ml) viscosity is 80.0-100.0 mPa·s [cP]
    (i) the CNT solid content could vary depending on the final application and on the printing technique to be applied;
(ii) Polyvinylpyrrolidone: PVP can be added as additive/viscosity modifier and dispersant, to result into 100-1,000 cP or even above 3,000-4,000 cP e.g., for screen printing and or flexography printing applications
Solvent MediumDistilled water (d-H2O) surfactant medium (pH: slightly acidic 6.0-6.5) with/without PVP as viscosity modifier (if needed)
    Drying-Annealing-Sintering Temperature/Conductivity10 min @80 °C and 10 min @110 °C, or 20 min @110 °C to achieve:
    • <50.0 Ohm@1cm interelectrode distance (measured using a multimeter)
    • Electrical conductivity (σ): 3-4 x 103 S/m
    Storage
    • Storage at room temperature (23-25 °C) in ambient conditions (if available storage in a fridge at 2-8 °C)
    • The ink must be warmed at room temperature before use
    Details of Usage
    • Keep in opaque plastic container or in aluminium foil covered glass vials
    • Needs to be agitated before use (e.g. 20 sec mildly), 10 min of magnetic stirring@1,000 rpm and 5 min of bath sonication before use.
    • Clean with its solvent medium: H2O or a mixture of H2O: Ethanol: Isopropanol (1:1:1) for e.g. cartridges, aerosol-jet nozzles, beakers, etc.
    • Clean metallic parts e.g. of the printer (nozzles, printer head, etc.) with H2O or a mixture of H2O: Ethanol: Isopropanol (1:1:1) in an ultrasonic bath for at least 30 min.
    • Soluble in H2O (can be diluted up to two times from the original suspension)
    • Low electrical resistivity ink, good adhesion to a wide range of hydrophilic or polar substrates since the dispersion is in H2O.
    • Always wear a mask in the printing-cleaning process
