    Flow cytometry absolute counting microspheres are a calibrated suspension of microspheres used to accurately determine the absolute count of cells in a sample.     Alfa Chemistry offers a range of flow cytometry absolute counting microspheres. They feature a highly uniform particle size distribution and fluorescence intensity distribution (CV< 5%). Unstained absolute counting microspheres can determine the absolute number of cells in a sample via the signal of light scattered by a flow cytometer. Internally stained fluorescent microspheres can generate signals in commonly used fluorescence channels such as PE and can be distinguished from the detected cell population. This allows for the calculation of cell counts by assessing the ratio of the microspheres to the cells. Rainbow flow cytometry absolute counting microspheres generate signals in all commonly used fluorescence channels, making them suitable for cell counting in mmulticolor flow assays.
