    Heparin-conjugated agarose magnetic beads are specialized bio-functional materials designed for various biomedical and biochemical applications. Heparin is a naturally occurring, highly sulfated glycosaminoglycan. It has a strong affinity for binding various proteins, particularly those involved in blood coagulation and cell signaling. The incorporation of heparin onto the surface of agarose magnetic beads allows for specific binding and purification of heparin-binding proteins or molecules.

    Compared to traditional column chromatography purification methods, our heparin-conjugated agarose magnetic beads do not require pretreatment of crude protein samples, nor do they require control of flow rate and column pressure.     You Need to Know

    • The magnetic beads can be washed 2 to 3 times with purified water or buffer to remove ethanol from the preservation solution as needed during use.
