In order to make full use of the lightweight characteristics of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), Alfa Chemistry manufactures CNTs in the form of tapes. Such tapes are also known as CNT tapes. Compared with the typical diameter of the CNT wire, the thickness of the CNT tape is reduced, and the dopant can be quickly incorporated into the stable atomic site, thereby minimizing the density of the weakly adsorbed dopant on the exterior of the CNT. In addition, the tape can be densely wound than the wire while maintaining similar conductivity. These properties make CNT tapes widely used in electronic and flexible devices, sensors, energy storage and other fields.
