Product Description

Oil-soluble HgTe quantum dots (HgTe QDs) are a class of semiconductor nanocrystals that exhibit tunable optical properties. Structural Characteristics

Oil-soluble HgTe QDs consist of an HgTe nanocrystal core with oleylamine as the surface ligand. The oleylamine molecules form a hydrophobic organic layer on the surface of the quantum dots, which effectively stabilizes the nanocrystals and prevents aggregation. In addition, this surface modification allows the quantum dots to remain well dispersed in nonpolar organic solvents such as hexane and toluene, facilitating their use in various material processing and research applications.
